SUMMER - Hiking
Family walks or high elevation hiking, Autrans offers kilometres of marked trails maintained with the help of the Natural Regional Vercors Park.
Situated at 1,050m altitude, Autrans offers a landscape typical of the Vercors : large open rolling hillside pastures surrounded by forests of pine and beech trees, dispersed by isolated hamlets.
Highest point : 1,709 m in Charande on the Molière mountain crest.

4 major areas of walking and hiking:
La forêt de Claret
The forest of Claret takes its name as it is the first area to welcome the first rays of light at sunrise. Starting from the village, easy walks are available.
Gève
The enchanting cross-country ski plateau is also a very beautiful location for hiking through pastures, forests and hillsides. Situated 3kms from the village, either by foot or by car
La Molière
is a mountain pasture where cattle roam throughout the summer. La Molière is a beautiful plateau from where you can enjoy a stunning panorama of the Alps. Situated 10kms from the village, it is possible to access La Molière on foot or by car by either “La Sure” or “Col de la Croix Perrin”.

To see : Panoramic table identifying the principle alpine peaks including Mont Blanc.
Nave
For leisurely walks or hikes of a more sporting nature, Nave is an open area with forests, hillsides and pastures. Start from either the village or the “Route de Nave” parking at the Font Scellier des Etrets.
To see : « le Signal de Nave » 1609 m, stunning wiewpoint over the Isère valley plain to the Chambarans, further below is the « Grotte de la Ture.
